  1. The 10 million TPS is basically fancy wording. Microsoft SQL could claim billions of gazillions, if compared: they too provide high performance databases that only speak to one another when needed. Also, calling a blockchain with smart contracts capability a decentralized cloud is just a marketing thing. Everything about this project is a marketing thing, including the CEO having Cisco listed under his name everywhere, for working 2 years as a support engineer 15 years ago. Nothing here. This one is so hyped now. Itl be dumped on exchanges.

  2. In a world less concerned with money, this guy would demo for us at least a year from now. Only reason he is risking a disaster is he thinks he can get our money anyway. Wow!

  3. "Blockgrain" ICO have the great future , Cargill company has focus on them , I think they want to invest in these types of firm . It seems that try to play this gamble may be profitable..

  4. HOW PEOPLE GET SUCH HUGE FUNDING FOR SUCH AN ILL PREPARED WORKING PLATFORM AND PREPARATION, IT'S CRAZY, PEOPLE THROW MONEY AT ANYTHING HOPING TO MAKE THEMSELVES RICH – ITS CRAZY

  5. Sounds like Sparkster was a terrible BA/SA hence his issue with requirements elicitation and being a conduit between business and IT.

Now I understand why he says 10M, because he has zero idea what the tech guys said to him about what's possible because he couldn't get his requirements right.

  6. I don't want to be overly dramatic and say this ruins Ian's reputation.. but I will say this is very odd. Don't like what im seeing here tbh. Full disclosure: I invested in the presale

  7. Demo got rekt 😂….. a ceo building a blockchain and demoing a million dollar project doesn’t know how to share a screen? Gotta get off those marketing pills bro

  8. I disagree with sajjad. In the history of computer science, nothing has taken off that tried to simplify the programmers job or to make it more understandable. This is the anti thesis of innovation.

  9. Give the man a break! He had the guts to make a live demo. And he proved 6000 tps; of course he needs the comunity to reach 10 mil tps! I still love the project!

  10. "How do you do a screen share?", "Oh..just hit the green button". (lol). Man, after all the impressive background, starting businesses, etc. and working with MIT professor, etc.

  11. I am sure Sparkster will be a success, because of Ian backing the project with proper advices.
Also Sparkster have a special fund for exchange listings. Listing on top exchange, proper airdrop and other marketing strategies are a must.

So pretty much the team needs to play its cards well, think about its investors (!!!), continue the strong marketing, make partnerships and react to the FUD asap.

We – the investors – expect more on OhHeyMattys AMA and a good return on our investment.

  12. Full english programming languages wasnt visual basic like this. Never used it but have seen small snippets of code and thats not all that popular. Also drag and drop doesnt work. I think jdeveloper did that been awhile might have the name wrong but point is it failed miserably especially for a project my former company was using for it
